The 4th Annual Santa's Helpers Poker Tournament Fundraiser was a great success. There were 10 talented players duking it out over bragging rights and the right to sport a Santa Belt Buckle and/or Ring, but the biggest prize of the night was helping our local Nueces Canyon Children.

There was a great supporting cast and the poker tournament raised $2150 and the community additionally supported the effort with $2719. This will allow for Santa to give out some fun things to our kids during Christmas in the Canyon. A very special thanks is extended to Leslie Williams that spends a tireless amount of time making this all happen.

The winner of the tournament, Alfred Williams, was awarded a championship belt buckle and $300 prize money. The runner-up was Jimmy Brown, and he was awarded a ring and $100. Congratulations!
